Update #3!

Hey! Alex here.

Ok, this is only my part.
Jimmy has been busy, so his will be up later.

Here are the rules:
1.Do not direct link
2.Leave a comment if you download, listing what songs you took (we do this so we know if people are downloading from us and what types of music are gathering the most interest)
3. These mp3s are for sampling purposes only. Please delete these within 24 hours of downloading them onto your computer. If you do not do this, we are in no way responsible for any trouble you might have regarding this.

If you follow these simple rules, I'm sure we'll get along fine. Thank you for choosing The Rage Beat and we hope you stop by again.

ok!
Here we go!!

Alex’s Picks!

This week, I have kind of a theme going on!
I am calling it “Around Eastern Asia in 13 minutes and 8 seconds!!”
Woot!

The first stop in our journey around Eastern Asia is Japan!

Song: ブランコ (Buranko)
Artist: Do As Infinity
Album: Gates of Heaven
Genre: Pop
Type: kind of mid-tempo
Language: Japanese
Rating: A

Do As Infinfity, who is fronted by Tomiko Van and Ryo Owatari. Another member, creator of the band in fact, Dai Nagao is more on the background. DAI, as they are called for short, has been together since 1999 making this they’re 5th year together.

“Buranko” comes off DAI’s 7th album “Gates of Heaven.” “Buranko” is one of my favorite DAI songs, my other favorite being “Yesterday and Today.” “Buanko” is sort os a slow song, but slow enough to be categorized as a balad. So its mid-tempo. Hahaha, great explanation I’m sure XD

Next, we will stop in China! Woot!

Song: Ask
Artist: Kelly Chen
Album: Ask Kelly
Genre: Pop
Type: err… kind of rock/dance-ish
Language: Chinese
Rating: A-

Kelly Chen… well, to be totally honest, I had never herd anything by Kelly until today. I had my idea of this theme and needed to find some c-pop and I remember hearing about her, so I looked her up. I downloaded a few songs and “Ask” was the one I liked the best.

“Ask”, which comes off Kelly Chen’s album “Ask Kelly,” has sort of rock feel to it. But it also has an element of dance to it. I really love thins song. Its so, so, so good!

Our last stop in out journey around Eastern Asia is Korea!

Song: Hate U
Artist: Lee Soo Young
Album: This Time
Genre: Pop
Type: Dance-ish
Language: Korean
Rating: A

“Hate U” comes off of Lee Soo Young’s 5th album “This Time.” “Hate U” was the first Lee Soo Young song I herd that wasn’t a ballad type song. It seems like the type of song that would have cool dancing to go along with it. Yup yup yup ^_^

Well, I hope that you enjoyed this tour around Eastern Asia in 13 minutes and 8 seconds!! Woot!!

Don’t forget to comment after/before downloading!
